I'm a 14 year old girl, loves fantasy, fine with gore, recently read Water for Elephants. (Very graphic sex scenes) My brother said "Don't read the book you're too young" and I've heard there is lots of sex. But will it be a huge issue that I can't read the book? Is it too inappropriate for someone my age?Is "A Game of Thrones: A Song of Fire and Ice" book appropriate for a teenager?
Go ahead and read it. I'm sure you can handle it without going crazy in the head ;)

By the age of 14 you should be able to determine what is appropriate for you and what isn't. Try the book. If you find it offensive, stop reading it.
