A song of ice and fire/ game of thrones question?

I have recently started reading the song of ice and fire series by GRRM. i just finished the first book (loved it). and i am now moving on to the second one unfortunately i hare that while the first three books in the Series are incredible the story starts to sag in the forth one. I was thinking of stopping the Series after the third book and waiting to see if the next book in the series is well received. is the end of the third book in the series and good temporary stopping point? thanksA song of ice and fire/ game of thrones question?
The fourth story (A feast for Crows) doesn't really sag, lets just say a lot happens in 'A Storm of Swords' (book three) and not a lot can continue because of it. Stopping at book three, using hindsight, would be an alright place to stop before hearing reviews (good or bad) for A Dance with Dragons and deciding whether or not to continue reading the series.A song of ice and fire/ game of thrones question?
I liked A Feast for Crows and Clash of Kings better on re-read. Both of them are transition books, so to speak. Storm of Swords definitely has the most "action" and after reading Storm of Swords, I could appreciate Clash of Kings more.

I liked Feast for Crows quite a bit. Dorne is introduced and with it, a whole new element of the game. There are new point-of-view characters also.A song of ice and fire/ game of thrones question?
A good temporary stopping point?

Hmmm....

Yes, I have to say it is. I'm not sure how much I can say about that without spoiling anything, but yes: you could stop at the third for a while.

( Iiked Feast of Crows, but there were several story line that were left hanging.)
