1. I can't remember exactly, and I don't have my book on me, but I'm definitely sure it's either Lord Stannis, Catelynn or Littlefinger. I don't think it's Littlefinger though.
2. The secret was that Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen weren't Robert's children. They were, in fact, Jamie Lannister's aka The Kingslayer's children.
