i have the ice and fire song books sitting on my shelf for about 2 years and now,but when i saw the show i really would like to start reading them,the thing is i hate reading stuff when i know what is going to happen(hence why i never read one book twice)
so im asking if the show covered everything in the first book and will i miss a lot if i start reading from the second one (a clash of kings)Should i start from a clash of kings if i have already seen the a game of thrones show?
HBO had to make some minor changes for production (ages of some child characters, etc) and the book has more details on a lot of things... that said, you do already know what is going to happen.
