Game of Thrones: Book or Program?

I'm getting the book, but I also want to watch the program. Should I read first (Bear in mind, all the books aren't released) or watch it simultaneously?Game of Thrones: Book or Program?
Well, I didn't know about the books until I became completely hooked on the characters and plot in the first TV episode and began looking into it on the internet. I plan to get the books, read them and watch the program simultaneously, but I'm a fast reader so hopefully I'll be able to get to events in the books before the TV program gets there so I can imagine things myself!

If you watch the TV programs alone, you run the risk of being confused, whereas if you read and watch, you'll be able to understand backstory and stuff.

Or, if you decide to read the books first, you would have to find some way to watch the TV programs after or wait for them to come out on DVD which could take forever!

Good luck and have fun watching/reading!

Love A Fellow Game of Thrones Fan :DGame of Thrones: Book or Program?
I'm a big fan of the books. The TV show is excellent, but as always, the books is a far richer and deeper experience. If you are interested in the show, then you'll probably get into the books even more.
