How accurate was the game of thrones hbo series?

i just finished watching game of thrones season 1 and was wondering how accurate it was to the book. also for those who read it and watched the season, is it only based of book 1 "game of thrones" or does it continue a bit into book 2 "clash of kings"



i want to buy the books and continue them but im not sure if i should read book 1 now (i will eventually) or continue with the rest. i will only read book 1 now if there were many changes or important ones.

You MUST read the book, it is heavily addicting. I was very happy the way they adapted it! They left out some characters, but they weren't really very important. So far every scene seems to be pretty much exactly the same as the book. I'm also really impressed with the casting! Mind you, everybody is 10 yrs younger in the book(Daenerys Targaryen is 13, Jon snow is 15 etc...). I LOOOVE Game of Thrones. seriously, read the book, you won't regret it!How accurate was the game of thrones hbo series?

I think you can watch the book befor it aired. You know reading book is a world of imagination and vision. If you watch shows, then it will fix yourself of this instinct. Then you can watch DVD on DVDBOXROOM to review.
