I am about 400 pages into the Game of Thrones and I want to know if the TV show goes along with the book (well, we all know they are never exactly the same..) but I want to know if the first season is the first book, second season is the second book, etc. I really want to watch the TV show but I don't want to see content that I haven't yet read in the book.. help![Game of Thrones] Book/TV Show Question?
Yeah the first season of Game of Thrones was the first book, The next season will be the next book, A Clash of Kings. I would continue reading the first book though, their are a lot more details crucial for understanding the characters more i depth, for example Arya, who in the television series is not that great in "dancing" but in the book, she becomes a lot more fluent with her sword, and has the potential to be very lethal.[Game of Thrones] Book/TV Show Question?
The first season is the complete first book and the second will be the second, but I'd keep reading the books because they left A LOT out that becomes important later.
