i need a good long book series to read i am burned out on all the books i have now. i have read the hp series, percy jackson, nicholas flamel, game of thrones, cirque du freak, demonata, eragon, artemis fowl, and a series of unfortunate events. i don't like books about vampires (ik cirque du freak is about vampires) or books witha girl for a main char. no romance or books from the eighties please.I need a good book series to read.?
The "Lincoln Lawyer" or "Harry Bosch" series by Michael Connelly are quite good.
Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series is amazing, too. (Dark Tower had a couple of books from the eighties but didn't wrap up until 2004. If you're VERY close-minded about things like that then even though it is an amazing series, it isn't for you).
The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher might be right up your alley.
Oh! And the Alex Delaware novels bu Jonathan Kellerman are great.
Animorphs. Read it in true order though; start with Ellimist Chronicles, then Hork-Bajir Chronicles, then Andalite Chronicles, THEN finally start with book #1. Also, be mindful of where the Megamorphs and Visser belong in the series--they're excluded from the normal numerical order. It's kind of unnecessarily difficult to read this series in order, but it's really an awesome series. If you ever saw the lame TV show, just try to forget it completely.
Or, if you prefer a short series, try Everworld or Remnants.I need a good book series to read.?
theres the hunger games... but thats a girl as the main char. i still suggest you look into it.
OH uhm the maze runner series by james dashner is AMAZING its guy main character its not romantic really and it has ALOT of action. i think youll like it
ANDD gone by micheal grant. thats a really good one to. it has mutiple POVs some guy, some girls. but it has alot of action and its very cool.
Thats all i can think off but i think youll really enjoy those.
These two were both released in last two years....Blades and Dangerous Days, both by J. William Turner. Very realistic fiction about Australian teens in several tense, dramatic, life and death situations set in many parts of Australia, plus California and England, and dealing with teenage, adult and social themes. Each novel is written as a series of four-books-in-one. More info in Yahoo web searchI need a good book series to read.?
You should read the Cherub series by Robert Muchamore, i'm on book 10 and they are brilliant! Its about chidlren who are recruited to become agents, yet it has normal teenage problems in it. A boy is the leading character.
Fablehaven is awesome. I would say the main character is a girl, but...dude, it's an awesome, engaging book.
I think you'll love His Dark Materials -trilogy-, by Philip Pullman. It has a girl as a main character but I don't think that that is an essential aspect.
The last apprentice- total of around 8 books- horror- iv read all of them, extreamly good!! although the main character is a guy
the pretties, uglies, specials, exras series is really good!
