I got a Dell PR01X docking station to go with my Dell 600m. They are supposed to be compatible items. But after mating the two, the lap top is slightly inclined to the front- the back sits about an inch higher (resting on the docking station) than the front end of the lap top resting on the table. Is this mechanically the right arrangement? Would it not put undue strain on the mating electrical connectors ? Thanks a lot for your experienced response.Should the dell lap top be flat after fitting into the docking station?That's correct, a slight incline is a feature, not a bug.
Allows for airflow under the laptop, keeping it a little cooler.
The electrical connectors are designed for the incline.
