Who really made Obama President?

I am looking for a book or articles that give the inside story as to who the real power behind the throne is. I live in Illinois and read both Chicago papers. Obama was an obscure state Senator with no legislative record. He was not a mover or shaker in Springfield and was not known to the general public outside his district. Circumstances fell into place and he was elected US Senator. He arrives in Washington and like most Freshman lands up on such exulted committees like Fish and Wildlife. Before you know it a junior Senator who can barely find the Senate Restroom is being talked about as a Presidential candidate. He is then given a key time to give a speech at the convention and the game was on. He spent a good portion of his term in the Senate campaigning. Normally the party elders if they were not afraid of being labeled racist or fear the backlash of the black vote would have crushed his candidacy before it even got started. Obviously there has to be money people and someone or a number of somebodies pushing and pulling the strings. Who really provided the seed money and played up Obama's enormous ego to convince him he could be President. Who are these people?Who really made Obama President?

Your question is almost a rant and full of errors. He was a state Senator for eight years and had a legislative record. Legislation he passed in Springfield, he worked on getting through Congress. He was not known outside his district? I was active in the Independent Voters of Illinois-Independent Precinct Organization (IVI-IPO). We gave him an award in 1992 for his work on voter registration. I emceed the event. He had not yet been elected to anything. He was known for his community involvement before he was elected to public office. He was elected a US Senator from Illinois. He won the Democratic primary. You say circumstances fell into place to get him elected Senator. He fought hard for that election. He could barely find the Senate Restroom? What misinformation are you repeating when you allege that?

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) tracks campaign contributions. Look up who donated to Obama's 2008 campaign. He made masterful use of the internet and collected big dollars in small donations. You're alleging some conspiracy behind Obama becoming president? It was a conspiracy of the American people who donated to his campaign, volunteered, and voted for him in numbers enough to get him the nomination and the presidency.
