Some good books for me? (reposted this)?

ok, so I'm a sophmore (10th grade) and i don't read.... at all, and it's 1 week before the quarter ends and i gotta have read 500 pages before next tuesday!!! as i said, i don't read, the only books i have ever read though, are hatchet, roll of thunder hear my cry, and holes.. and that's because they were read at school, and it was required. but now, i have an F in that class, and the only apparent way to get it up is to get those pages up... i've only read 51 pages off of the book cheating lessons, and i like it so far, i was reading a book last year about this rich, spoiled juvenile that smashes this kid's head into the ground, and he gets arrested and sent to an island alone for a month, but i can't remember the name, i think it was something about a spirit bear. anyways, i need a good book that i don't sleep in the middle of a page, i guess i like fictional stuff, and i hope it's about school so i can relate to it... oh, and PLEASE don't tell me books about vampires, i seriously hate them because now they're used as romantic since twilight, and not he blood sucking demons they should be classified as(as they were). anyways, i love fantasy, but not that medieval kind of thing(i'll keep that on video games such as dragon age), however, i still would like something supernatural like someone different starts goin to school and it turns out to be a messenger from the future, or a killer or something..... and man, do i love time-space theories!!! if anyone watches anime, i guess you could recomend a couple of books that were something like them, anyways, my favorite anime are

---%26gt;steins gate(time travel awesomeness!!! okabe sends a messege about this girl, makisekurisu, getting stabbed, which accidentally goes into the past, and suddenly, she's alive! then, it's just alot more complicated after that lol)

---%26gt;kore wa zombie desu ka?(supernatural zombies and necromancer.... but too much fan service though :/ but still, i like how this guy gets murdured by a mysterious person, and turns into a zombie by a magical necromancer, who is in fact so magical, she can't speak, or else her words might kill, provoke, or cause bad things to happen)

---%26gt;dog days(i didn't finish it, cuz a friend called me a furry, and i didn't want to be classafied as such, but i'd like something like this, where he gets pulled into another dimension.... minus everyone having cat or dog ears and tails lol)

---%26gt;the girl who leapt through time(i know it was a movie, but someone about to get hit by a train leaps through time to fix some of her mistakes and help others is wonderful! even if she runs out of that power.....)

---%26gt;spice and wolf(i watched both seasons and liked it alot, merchanting and romance[kinda] with a god-like person, i loved this anime, until i saw the OVAs, and learned about furries... so... yeah haha)

---%26gt;code geass(i know that it was kind of overrated, but come on! a prince who was striped of his heir to the throne after they killed his mother which crippled and blinded his sister, and him trying to get revenge, it was awsome!)

---%26gt;death note (i liked this anime,it was just great!!! but then after light lost his mind, it felt like i was just watching a one way turn of events... heck, i even predicted the end kind of accurately!!! he dies after getting caught, which can only happen if he thinks he's gonna win, but first, he has to kill some major characters to make his downfall at least worth getting excited about)

---%26gt;digimon(season 3 was the best, i loved the idea of kids getting devices that could allow them to have monsters as partners/pets/protectors, i loved the cartoon as a little kid, and i recently watched the whole thing and thought that it has a good story, kind of.... but something like that would be perfect to read! other than the parts about gaining new abilities and such, i don't want another naruto but on a book)

so yea, i need book recommendations, 10 points to the one who can get books that have good story-lines, and are about the stuff i put above, OH! and they have to be PHYSICAL BOOKS THAT I CAN BRING TO THE TEACHER, so i can't bring in fan fics... i tried that.... haha, thank you all!!!! ^ ^

damn, i wrote alot lmao!!Some good books for me? (reposted this)?
The Golden Compass. It is the first book in a trilogy and it started me on reading when I was about your age. Before that book, I would routinely fail English classes because I didn't do the required outside reading. The second and third books in the trilogy are called The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass. It is fantasy (not medieval) based in several parallel world in which an evil church called the magesterium is trying to control humanity by cutting out childrens souls.
