WIFI click on start%26gt;connect to%26gt; view wireless networks and you should be able to see the wifi that is available around you.

if it still doesnt connect to any try these:

try removing the security key on your router and test if it can connect to your network (try the same distance and a closer distance). If it does connect, put the security key back on your router, and try to connect again. How to turn on wifi on a dell 610 laptop? You can always update your drive just to make sure but I doubt you have to so let's get started.
