Is this biblical proof that when atheist die nothing happens?

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.



now as i see it and read it second death sounds like destroyed, not burning forever. so doesn't that mean if an atheist dies then that's it, game over. just like the atheist believes?Is this biblical proof that when atheist die nothing happens?
Uh, I think being "cast into a lake of fire" long after you've supposedly already died counts as "something" happening.



Of course, that *isn't* going to happen...when ANYBODY dies nothing happens (except that they cease to exist). So no need to worry about it.

II Peter 3:10 says it more clearly:



"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then THE HEAVENS WILL PASS AWAY with a loud noise, and THE ELEMENTS WILL BE DISSOLVED WITH FIRE, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up."



See also Isaiah 65:17:



"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind."



Or Pslams 102:25-26:



"Of old thou didst lay the foundation fo the earth, and the heavens are the work of thy hands. THEY WILL PERISH, but thou doest endure; they will all wear out like a garment. Thou changes them like raiment, and they pass away..."

Yep. Except for that little period of time when he looks Jesus in the eye and realizes he could have "had it all" with someone who adores him and literally gave everything for his happiness, that awful moment when the life force that has sustained him and would have sustained him forever is removed, and he faces thousands of mighty angels who are quite aggravated at the grief he gave the Lord they love. Yes. After all that, blessed silence. Ashes. God is so good!
