well i have a delldimencion600cx. i want to install the windows on it but it dosent tell me what keys to press to get to the configuration or for it to boot from the xp installation cd. can anyone help me?? what keys do you press to boot from cd it usually tells you at the beginning but this one says DEll and i world background.How can i make my dell dimencion 600cx boot from the cd-rom?To get into your bios, you will have to repeatedly press the correct function key after you press the power button until it's in the bios menu.

well im not particularly sure but i know you hold down f7 f8 or f9 as soon as you turn on your computer telling it to boot from your disc drive witch it will boot from the cd and give you a few options witch help you with reinstalling it.
