p.s already read game of thrones.Looking for a fantasy- fiction series to read?
The Codex Alera by Jim Butcher.
Midieval world. Everyone has magic. The Prince is dead... There is no heir to the thrown. Enter the Hero. Who saves us from the barbarians and gets the King's sponsorship to go to the big awesome school in the Capital. Then the fun starts. Treason, invasion, war. Awesomeness.
Or
The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks.
Kid gets to learn to be an assasian. And didn't anticipate the politics and intrigue. Throw in a few wizards trying to divert disaster and getting caught up in it. Oh, and the awesome guy who gets to be King.
Both of them are huge. Lots of people. Big action. Plots and murders and hidden identities. I want to tell you all the awesome things and twists and turns... But I don't want to give them away. Just know that they're pretty well crafted and great reads.
Well, not exactly in medieval times, but Tamora Pierce writes a lot of fantasy novels involving fantasy worlds that are somewhat like the medieval times. I have personally read Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen and I liked them.
One of my all time favorite fantasy books is the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. It is set in modern times, but it does have very interesting characters and pretty good plot. Maybe you can give this a try? Expand your reading bubble?
Hope this helps!Looking for a fantasy- fiction series to read?
Like another poster said, Tamora Peirce writes really great novels that you might enjoy.
Her most famous is the Tortall Series which is actually a group of small quartets all based in the same place, and often the characters interact :) They are all excellent and I highly recommend them

Percy Jackson and the Olympians has most of them:
Hate - a demigod called Luke hates the gods so much he trys to overthrow them
plotting - Kronos the titan wants to overthrow the gods
betrayal - Luke befriends Percy Jackson then betrays him by taking him into the woods to kill him
murder - A man called Quintus kills his nephew in rage
war - Wars between the gods' demigods and the titan's demigods
drama - lots of drama and action
and in Percy Jackson there are about a million twists!Looking for a fantasy- fiction series to read?
