Hey I'm really into fantasy books with good heroines in. I like books that are set in a middle earthy kinda places and with magic. I've read lord of the rings, harry potters, game of thrones and my favourite the magicians guild trilogy. Any ideas on what else i could read please??? :)Fantasy Books To Read Please?
Well...Idk about to many with Middle Earth sort of feel about here's my list:

The Darkest Powers Series by Kelley Armstrong

Hex Hall Series by Rachel Hawkins

Song of the Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce

Protector of the Small Quartet by Tamora Pierce

The Immortals Quartet by Tamora Pierce

Trickster Series by Tamora Pierce

Beka Cooper Series by Tamora Pierce

Princess Academy by Shannon Hale

Dark Angel and A Gathering of Gargoyles by Meredith Ann Pierce
The Ice Princess by Theodore Svea is magical. In the book a prince has his heart, memories, and crown stolen by a cold and cruel unattainable beauty. It is different. In the fantasy story The Ice Princess, there is an ogre, kings, queens, a unicorn, a dragon and a mysterious crystal skull.

The Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin

A young wizard attends a school of magic. (Maybe the idea for Harry Potter came from this?)Fantasy Books To Read Please?
The Hero and the Crown; The Blue Sword - Robin McKinley (I love Robin McKinley; these are companion novels which can be read in any order; I preferred The Blue Sword)

The Island and the Ring - Laura C. Stephenson

Shadow Warrior - Pat Zettner (hard to find, not well known at all, but I thought it was excellent; I think the best prices for the book used - if you're interested in it - are on Borders)
All Good Books.

I've compiled a list of the top ten fantasy books which can be found at my website.
