What are some good fantasy/science fiction book series to read?

i have read game of thrones song of the lioness vampire kisses vampire diaries the last dragon chronicles and vampire academy. i want to know what other series are good to read.What are some good fantasy/science fiction book series to read?

Memory, Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams

The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind

The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan (and, later, Brandon Sanderson)

The Dark Elf Trilogy and the three books that immediately follow it. Skip a few and read The Hunter's Blade all by RA Salvatore. Icewinddale Trilogy was ok.

The Belgariad, The Mallorean and the two companion books by David Eddings (the Elenium and the Tamuli are very similar to the other two series but if you like the first two, you'll probably like these.)



**Keep in mind that WoT isn't finished. But it has 14 books (i think) so it may take you a while to get through it. I hate unfinished series but I didn't realize it at the time I started it and Game of Thrones. The wait is too long!!!What are some good fantasy/science fiction book series to read?

My favorite book series is The House of Night Series... its about vamps... but its really good, you should check it out... there's like 6 books in the series... the first one is Marked
The Host (not a series but still GREAT)

Uglies, Pretties, Specials, Extras
Read Michael Chriton ....anything he writes. Awesome. I loved Timeline.
