These all have some form of fantasy. Here are some of my all time favorite books...

-Artemis Fowl Series

-the Blue is for Nightmares Series

-the Mediator Series

-Witch Child and the sequel Sorceress

-Fire Bringer and the sequel The Sight (there is another one coming out this fall)

-I Rode a Horse of Milk White Jade

-Harry Potter Series (ofcourse)

You can look up the summeries and stuff on wikipedia, Barnes %26amp; Noble, or the author's website. Happy book hunting!
Just for fun I would recommend Piers Anthony's Xanth series. It's a really entertaining and light read. What's your favorite Fantasy Genre Book?
If you enjoy satire in fantasy, get a hold of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series.

For an epic read, try Stephen Kings "Dark Tower" Series.

(He also did a stand alone fantasy:"Eye of the Dragon" I think it was)

Ive found Terry Brooks Shannara series, havent started reading it yet; looks promising!

Books with dragons? I can only think of two series: Inheritance (the one with Eragon) and the Dragon riders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey.

Edt: I remember reading Piers Anthony "Mode" series. It was quite a good read. Xanth looks intresting!

NJoy!
Harry Potter is always good. Artemis Fowl too. The wish list by Eoin Colfer is good too. He is theauthor of the Artemis Fowl-series.The Inheritance trilogy is really really great as well. The third book hasn't come out quite yet, but it soon will. Currently there are only Eragon and Eldest out in stores. I also like Ravens gate and The evil star.

All of these books are about teenagers. But even if you aren't one I still think you should check 'em out. Especially Eragon/Eldest.What's your favorite Fantasy Genre Book?
