I've read almost all of Orson Scott Card's books (except for the biblical stories), and every one of them is great. In particular I recommend the Shadow series, which is a parallel to the Ender's Game series, only it follows Bean as a main character. Good stuff. The Alvin Maker series was good, too, but a little unsatisfying at the end - still worth reading. The Homecoming Saga was also very good.
If you actually liked The Da Vinci Code, then he's written 3 other books which are pretty much the same in style and adventure which you might be interested in. They're basically of the same caliber: Digital Fortress, Angels and Demons, and Deception Point.
Luck for you, the recently deceased Michael Chrichton was a very prolific author whose books are also pretty reliably consistent. The good ones: Prey, Timeline, Jurassic Park and I've been told that State of Fear is good.
Read anything by Terry Prachett. Douglas Adams wrote a EXCELLENT famous series of books called The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which are essentially a science fiction version of the Discworld novels (Adams actually came first). Adams' other books are good too: Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul.
From your tastes I might also recommend books by Marion Zimmer Bradley, the Darkover series in particular.
Other books that aren't particular to you but which are excellent and everyone should read: Catch 22, Fight Club, The Fountainhead, Anthem, 1984, Stephen King's Dark Tower series, Flowers for Algernon, I Am a Strange Loop. Man's Search for Meaning. The last two aren't novels, but your life is incomplete until you've read them both.
Best of luck!

Awesome list. The Da Vinci Code and Ender's Game are some of my favorites as well. A Game of Thrones and Riftwar Saga are on my list of books to read. Id recommend you check out:
A Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind. Its the first book in the series A Sword of Truth. Very Epic Fantasy
Dune by Frank Herbert. One of the greatest sci-fi books ever written.
Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
Good Omens by Gaiman and Pratchett. If you already have't checked it out.
The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore. Tells the story of a Drow Elf warrior named Drizzt. Can someone recommend some books for me?
I'm a fan of Pratchett, Gaiman and Rollins, too. I read Da Vinci Code and Dan Brown's other books (not including the new one which isn't out yet), and while he's a decent storyteller I have to say I like these authors better:
Clive Cussler
Jack Du Brul
James Michener
Carl Hiaasen
Rob Thurman
John Ringo
Tom Holt
Robert Rankin
